In lieu of our regular meeting Monday at the police station, I will give a brief presentation of the activities of the NTC to the Board of Selectmen at 7:00 p.m.

Thanks goes out to Forest, Lana, Dominik, George Bender and the Northborough DPW for joining forces to get five new bridges placed in the muddy sections of the Proctor Trail in Edmunds Woods. The DPW crew kindly transported the pre-fabricated bridges from the storage area at the Northborough PD over to Edmunds and hauled them into the woods. Then I met up with the group Saturday morning and we moved the sections into place. Forest had already hauled some cinder blocks in, so we just had to carry the bridges and cinder blocks a short way to get them in place. We also moved some of the old planks to the Pine Tree Trail to span a muddy section there.
